When Dirty Cookie Was Created
In January 2015, she started Dirty Cookie as the CEO.
As a business major, Shahira claims she is the furthest person from “your typical Betty Crocker.” On her official website bio, she says “In my past life, I was an aerospace project manager.”
Why Did Shahira Start Dirty Cookie?
At only 10 years old, she went on a vacation to Egypt. What she saw devastated a young Shahira. She witnesses small children living out on the streets who were hungry, being deprived of the simple necessities of life. Instead of feeling the need to feed them, she listened to a very important piece of information.
Instead of just give out money, she wanted to provide people jobs. This is why she started her company!
