His educational journey led him to the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Law & Society. During his college years, he actively engaged in various activities and societies, including serving in the Office of Executive Vice President for ASUCI, participating in Club Soccer, contributing to the Gospel Choir, and joining The Summer Bridge Program. Building upon his undergraduate education, Batarse pursued and achieved a Master’s Degree in Communications from Purdue University.

In 2006, he founded his own marketing agency, the Brander Marketing Agency, a venture he continues to nurture. Concurrently, he took on significant roles in the communications sector. He became the Director of Communications for St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and later assumed the position of Executive Pastor at the same church, both located in Newport Beach, California.
